Jolene James

Pastor Jolene has been in ministry for over 30 years from Christian broadcasting to pastoring. She and her husband, Pastor Denis James were commissioned and ordained Salvation Army Officers appointed to Emporia, KS, Sault Ste. Marie, MI and Elkhart, IN. They worked extensively with the Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services in the Central Territory.  She worked alongside her husband while he pastored The First Christian Church and First Presbyterian Church of Guthrie Center up until his retirement in December 2019 when she then became Pastor of both congregations.  Pastor Jolene is also a Chaplain for the Guthrie County Sheriff's Department.
